Empowering Real Estate Regulation with the Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority Portal

The real estate sector in Rajasthan faced challenges related to transparency, accountability, and efficiency in project registration, complaints redressal, and government recommendations. AKAL collaborated with the Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Raj-RERA) to develop a comprehensive management portal.

The Client (Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority)

The Government of Rajasthan established the Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Raj-RERA) to regulate and promote the real estate sector in the state. Focusing on protecting the interests of allottees, promoters, and real estate agents, RERA plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency and accountability in the real estate industry.

Project Overview

AKAL collaborated with RERA to develop a Real Estate Management Portal, in accordance with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. The portal serves as a centralised platform for ensuring disclosures of real estate projects by promoters, registration of real estate projects and agents, complaints redressal, and providing recommendations to the government on matters related to the development and promotion of the real estate sector.

Our Solution

  • Real Estate Management Portal: We developed the Real Estate Management Portal using advanced technologies such as Microsoft .NET and C#, ensuring a user-friendly interface and robust functionality.
  • Customised Features: We incorporated features such as project registration, agent registration, complaints redressal, and government recommendations tailored to meet the specific requirements of RERA.
  • Integration of Adjudicating Mechanism: We integrated an adjudicating mechanism within the portal to facilitate speedy dispute resolution for registered real estate projects.

The Impact

  1. The portal promotes transparency by facilitating disclosures of real estate projects.
  2. Promoters can register their real estate projects seamlessly, streamlining the registration process and reducing administrative burden.
  3. The portal provides a platform for efficient complaints redressal, enabling stakeholders to raise grievances and seek resolution in a timely manner.
  4. RERA can provide recommendations to the government on matters related to the development and promotion of the real estate sector, fostering collaboration and informed decision-making.

The Conclusion

AKAL’s collaboration with Raj-RERA in developing the Real Estate Management Portal underscores our commitment to leveraging technology for regulatory compliance and industry promotion.
